Privacy notice

How this website handles information.

This website

This is a static website hosted on Cloudflare Pages. It does not use analytics, advertising pixels, browser storage, or embedded maps, and the site itself sets no cookies. Fonts and images are served from the site itself. Cloudflare processes standard connection information, such as IP addresses and the pages requested, to deliver and protect the site, and may set a strictly necessary security cookie when its bot protection is active.

The contact form

The form on the contact page builds an email in your browser. It does not send your entries to a server. Choosing “Open in email app” passes the text to your own email application, and you decide whether to send it. Once sent, the email is handled by your email provider and by Google Workspace, which Hargrove Law uses for email.

Calculators

The deadline calculators run entirely in your browser. Nothing you enter is sent to a server or stored.

What Hargrove Law receives

If you send an inquiry, Hargrove Law receives what you include: your name, contact details, the kind of matter, the names of other people involved, and your message. It is used to reply to you, to check for conflicts of interest, and, if you become a client, to work on your matter. Messages are kept in Hargrove Law’s Google Workspace account. They are not sold or shared for marketing.

Sensitive information

Please do not include confidential case details, identification numbers, financial account numbers, or medical records in a first message. You will receive instructions for sharing documents safely if you become a client.

Links to other sites

Links to maps, courts, and government agencies open other websites with their own privacy practices.

Do Not Track

This site does not track visitors over time or across other websites, and it does not allow other companies to do so. It works the same way whether or not your browser sends a Do Not Track signal.

Reviewing or correcting your information

To review, correct, or ask about information you sent, email steve@hargrove.law. Some records must be kept to check for conflicts of interest, and Hargrove Law will say so if a request cannot be fully met.
